Every decision I've rethought All the surprises I've unlocked My fallacies and fairy tales That everyone has foolishly bought Every trick I've turned My fears, worries and deep concerns They say I can't take it with me Just wait and see! All my imperfections And my unspoken confessions My violations of trust And purposeful misdirections They say I can't take it with me Just wait and see! All of my dirty deeds My sick and twisted needs My ill-intentioned schemes My sneaky little cheats All of my hopes and dreams My victories and defeats All remaining memories To myself alone do I bequeath They say I can't take it with me Just wait and see! All my inner demons Every crime and every treason My skeletons kept closeted And locked away deep within All of my burdens All of my lies All of my secrets I take with me when I die

Mad men left unrestrained drafting our design Prepping the pitch to enrich the arrogantly sublime Throwing back good whisky howling at the top of their lungs Wasting all that good whiskey destroying everything under the sun It’s so easy to judge those who bite the hand that feeds What can be expected when it covers hungry mouths Don’t shit where you sleep, what do you expect when you’ve lost the key to your own cage Everyone’s growing so tired Throwing back good whisky howling at the top of their lungs Wasting all that good whiskey destroying everything under the sun Everyone’s growing so, so very tired

(X2) PEOPLE SHOULD'NT FEAR THEIR GOVERNMENTS GOVERNMENTS SHOULD FEAR THEIR PEOPLE BUT INSTEAD WE ALLOW OURSELVES TO BE DIVIDED INTO CLASSES BY A SYSTEM DESIGNED TO ENSURE WE STAY THERE IF WE PUT ASIDE OUR PREJUDICE AND WE PUT ASIDE OUR DIFFERENCES WE WOULD SEE THAT UNITED WE HOLD THE POWER! WE ARE THE COGS THAT RUN THE MACHINE! WE ARE THE MEANS OF PRODUCTIONS! THESE STREETS BELONG TO US, NOT THEM! RESIST (X2) THESE STREETS ARE OURS! NOT THEIRS!

Join the masses, mobilize! Pull the wool off of your eyes Do not fall for all their lies Raise your fist take back your lives Voices (x3) An opposition, armed and rising Past the point of sympathizing Breaking free from your control Won't run our loves anymore Anymore Anymore Any Fucking More We are the voices (x4) Voices Of The Underground (x3) Voices! Voices Of The Underground (x3) Voices! Join the masses, mobilize! Pull the wool off of your eyes Do not fall for all their lies Raise your fist take back your lives Take back your lives Take back your life! Listen to the voices. It's one thing to be heard, but another to be listened to.
10.
Your rigidity is militant, it leaves no room for compassion You’ll never understand how privilege makes you ignore reality When this is over We will still be here A false sense of empowerment, deny any flaws or weaknesses You used to fight for what really mattered, nothing matters more then your entitlement When this is over We will still be here You pick at it and peel it away but it just won’t let go You pick and peel, and pick and peel but it just won’t let you go You’re stuck living life, eyes locked on yourself Sickly staring at your own reflection Your fist shatters a broken mirror, fragments on the floor reflect your ugliness When this is over We will still be here When this is over We will never be the same
11.
Don't know that I'll just sit and watch for how much longer Expect the same power be damned not too much longer Plutonomy Plutonomy I live my life live week by week and end of the month **(or pay stub by pay stub)** Hopin I can live thru the race dollar to struggle Plutonomy Plutonomy I hear a voice many one proletarian Many become many to stand and be counted Plutonomy Plutonomy

Hiding what you are deep within your lies Traits about yourself you truly despise Even start to think that all your lies are truly real Not really who you are, not really how you feel Why do you always lie? Why do you hide what lurks Deep within yourself? Because the truth hurts Denying the truth doesn't change the facts One day your lies will come to bite you in the ass Fuck your insecurities, say your farewells You're foolish to think you're fooling anyone but yourself Why do you always lie? Why do you hide what lurks Deep within yourself? Because the truth hurts Until you stop lying to yourself You'll never truly find yourself Because each time you deceive You gradually lose your identity Along with the ability to discern The truth within you, and around you Everything about you is really just a lie Fabricated truth just so you can get by To question your stories and tales that you tell You’d be questioning your life and everything you sell Don't admit your imperfection and discontent with you Feigning happiness you believe the lies you spew By accepting all the lies, living on eggshells Can’t blame your unhappiness on anyone but yourself Why do you always lie? Why do you hide what lurks Deep within yourself? Because the truth hurts

ISOLATION IS THE KEY TO THE GATES OF FREEDOM CANT YOU SEE? THE GIG IS UP THE LIES PUT STRAIGHT THE WORLD WONT END IF WE TAKE A BREAK BE SELF RELIANT TRY TO STAND ALONE GO PLANT A GARDEN GET OFF YOUR PHONE YOUR TIME IS NOW ITS WORTH SO MUCH STEP BACK RELAX TRY TO GET IN TOUCH I KNOW ITS HARD TO BUCK A TREND TO LEAVE BEHIND SOME SO CALLED FRIENDS TO STEP OUTSIDE AND GO AGAINST THE FLOW? ITS A LONELY STREET SOMETIMES YOU KNOW THIS CAN BE DIFFERENT, THERE'S ROOM FOR CHANGE BREAK FREE OF SLAVERY, BREAK FROM THE CHAINS BREAK FREE FROM THE CYCLE AND SEE WHAT REMAINS BREAK FREE FROM SOCIETY AND REAP THE GAINS ISOLATION IS HARD, ITS NOT FOR THE MEEK ALONE WITH YOUR THOUGHTS WEEK UPON WEEK BUT LOOK TOWARDS RELIANCE AND COMFORT IN WORK SO THAT NEVER AGAIN WILL YOU HAVE TO WORK FOR A JERK

about

Lockdown Records Presents

DIY to the core. This project is a whirlwind culmination of the Southern Ontario punk rock/metal community.

On a whim, Mark and Jeremy decided to use the pandemic situation as a launching pad for creativity. Along the way we managed to find a bunch of like minded individuals to come along for the ride.

This album was written, recorded, and collaborated on digitally over the span of two months. Recorded in our homes, cars and jam spaces spanning all over the province.

Thanks to all those involved and to all those that have supported the project.
